Now you can use Push to Talk Mobile to Mobile to talk to any other SouthernLINC Wireless customer throughout the SouthernLINC Wireless footprint. This capability increases your potential for networking and efficiency.
For example, if you need a special part that is not in your inventory, you can Push to Talk Mobile to Mobile another SouthernLINC Wireless customer in your industry. Or, if you are one of many contractors working on a job, use Push to Talk Mobile to Mobile to coordinate and use your time more effectively.

Effective October 10th, we have eliminated the monthly charge for existing customers with CrossFleet.
If you are not a current CrossFleet customer, sign up before January 1st and we will waive the $15 activation fee. To sign up for CrossFleet, just call Customer Support at 1-800-406-0151.
If you are a new SouthernLINC Wireless customer (activated after September 4, 2001), your phone is automatically provisioned for the enhanced capabilities.

It’s easy - just like making an Push to Talk Mobile to Mobile Private call. The only difference is, the number you enter is longer. First, enter a “1” then enter an asterisk (*), the Fleet number, another asterisk (*) and the Private ID. For example: 1*60*1234. These numbers can be stored on your phone just like Private I.D.s.
To find your own extended ID, press *#2 on your phone. Or, if you have an i85s, click Menu, select My Info, Prvt I.D. and then View.
To take advantage of this feature, you must have a “plus” unit or an “s” unit (this includes i500plus, i550plus, i700plus, i1000plus, i85s and all future models). Other units can be made capable with a software upgrade (except the L3000 and L3000E).
